Plan, coordinate, and deliver marine/offshore firefighting system packages from kick-off to commissioning, ensuring compliance with class rules and client requirements.
Manage projects from award through engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, and handover.
Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, production, QA/QC) and external stakeholders (clients, shipyards, OEMs, class surveyors).
Review P&IDs, layouts, cause & effect matrices, and interface requirements.
Ensure system design complies with SOLAS, FSS Code, class rules (DNV/ABS/BV/RINA), and applicable NFPA/ISO standards.
Prepare and manage deliverables: calculations, datasheets, MTO/BOM, method statements, ITPs, O&M manuals, as-builts.
Support procurement through technical requisitions and vendor evaluation.
Plan and witness FAT/SAT lead punch list closure and commissioning activities.
Coordinate site installation works, including permit requirements and safety documentation.
Track progress, highlight risks, support variation orders, and provide regular updates.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
2-5+ years of experience in marine/offshore projects.
Hands-on experience with at least one core fire system (foam, deluge, water mist, or gaseous).
Able to read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, single line diagrams, and cause & effect matrices.
Familiar with IMO/class approval processes and project documentation standards.
Proficient in MS Office and MS Project basic AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
Strong coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Site-minded, able to work under pressure, and willing to take on additional tasks as needed.
