PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Scope

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily construction activities on site to ensure project progress and quality targets are met
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Ensure all works comply with QA/QC requirements
• Provide clear instructions to subcontractors to ensure installation works are carried out according to approved construction drawings
• Manage construction challenges, safety risks, and technical issues on site
• Prepare installation sequences and micro-schedules for façade elements based on construction drawings
• Coordinate with the Main Contractor and subcontractors on site installation and quality matters
• Monitor and update daily site/project progress reports
• Maintain proper records of site inspection reports, material deliveries, and site activities
• Arrange and coordinate site testing and inspections with vendors and RTO/RE
• Plan and manage site materials and equipment delivery to ensure efficient resource utilization
• Assist the Project Manager in the timely submission of material samples and mock-ups for approval

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in aluminium and glazing design/site engineering works
• Responsible, organized, and possess good communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field (or higher)
• Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents preferred
