Design & Development Engineer

Job Description

• Client Coordination: Liaise with client design teams to align on technical project specifications.

• Drafting: Generate detailed shop drawings tailored to specific site requirements and architectural constraints.

• Analysis: Perform structural or mechanical calculations to validate shop drawings and evaluate design feasibility.

• Verification: Coordinate with third-party Project Engineers (PE) for the review and approval of drawings and calculations.

• R&D: Support the Engineering Manager in the research and development of new products and system improvements.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience is preferred.

• Design Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, Navisworks, and SolidWorks/Inventor.

• Engineering Software: Experience with STAAD.Pro and Bentley software suites.

• General Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong technical communication skills.
