PROJECT ENGINEER

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Project Engineer (Electrical Works) to manage and coordinate electrical upgrading projects in residential developments. The successful candidate will oversee project execution, site coordination, safety compliance, and client liaison for projects involving electrical upgrading works in HDB estates, Town Council facilities, and other residential buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical upgrading and installation works.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and Town Councils.
• Ensure works are carried out according to specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and prepare site reports.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues promptly.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in electrical construction or upgrading projects.
• Knowledge of Singapore electrical regulations and safety requirements.
• Able to read electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
