Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to support the execution of plant and industrial projects. The role involves coordination, site supervision, and technical support for process-related works including piping, mechanical systems, and instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager in planning and executing plant / process projects
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and vendors
- Supervise installation works (piping, structural, mechanical, instrumentation)
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and technical submissions
- Monitor project progress, schedule, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) requirements where applicable
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations under Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
- Conduct site inspections, troubleshooting, and quality checks
- Assist in procurement, material tracking, and documentation
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in plant / industrial projects
- Knowledge of piping systems, instrumentation, and mechanical installation
- Familiar with safety procedures (PTW, WAH, confined space, hot work)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good coordination and communication skills
