Job Summary

The Sales Engineer will promote and grow process analyzer solutions by identifying business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and providing technical support to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new markets, regions, and customer segments
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
  • Take ownership of client pre-qualification documents, surveys, and compliance submissions.
  • Attend to new sales enquiries and lead quotation preparation
  • Lead commercial negotiations with customers on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual conditions.
  • Ensure all negotiated terms are properly reviewed, approved, and documented in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking for the region.
  • Ensure accuracy and discipline in pipeline data and revenue projections.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales reports to Management.
  • Support Management in business planning and decision-making with reliable sales analytics.
  • Act as a key commercial interface with customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Support customer meetings, presentations, and technical/commercial discussions.
  • Ensure customer expectations, commercial commitments, and assumptions are clearly communicated and aligned internally.
  • Support effective handover from Sales to Project Business Unit upon award.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical industries, preferably with process analyzers or instrumentation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills demonstrated in sales and customer engagement contexts
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel within the region to support business development and customer needs
