Overview
We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to contribute to the delivery of PLC and SCADA-based automation projects. This role involves supporting the full engineering lifecycle, including system design, integration, validation, deployment, and ongoing support. You will work closely with internal teams and clients while building strong hands-on technical capabilities in industrial control systems.
What You'll Do
- Support engineering activities across project phases, including system design, build, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
- Work alongside project teams and clients to ensure smooth coordination and timely execution of deliverables.
- Participate in testing activities such as factory and on-site validation to ensure system readiness.
- Carry out system integration tasks, including PLC programming, SCADA setup, and implementation.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with required technical standards and quality expectations.
- Assist in managing system updates, including software revisions, hardware setup, and configuration tracking.
- Contribute to the implementation of automation solutions from initial concept through deployment, under guidance where needed.
- Interface with multiple subsystems to support overall system integration and performance.
- Prepare engineering documentation such as reports, schematics, and technical drawings, and support discussions with stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot system faults, identify root causes, and support issue resolution during testing and operational phases.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior exposure (internship or 1-2 years) in PLC/SCADA or industrial automation environments is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of reading electrical drawings, schematics, and system diagrams.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently when required.
