Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

. Assist the Project Manager in providing engineering consultancy and project management services for 22kV AC, 750V DC Power System installation.

. Participate in engineering activities across the project by managing the disciplines for the achievement of budget, schedule, quality, and safety goals.

. Manage and oversee engineering projects related to power systems.

. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost- effective project delivery.

. Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to substation equipment, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.

. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.

. Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

. Support site inspections, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting as required.

. Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on permits, approvals, and inspections for the project.

Qualifications and Work Experience

. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering or Relevant field of studies.

. Experience in 22kV switchgear replacement.

. Cable replacement works.

. MSRA preparation and implementation.

. Experience in A&A (Addition & Alteration) works.

. Ability to read, review, and interpret electrical drawings.

. Familiar with Singapore's energy regulations, EMA codes, and industrial safety standards.

. Experience working in LTA or similar industrial projects is an advantage.

. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in electrical installation projects.

. Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

. Ability to work independently and travel to site when required.

. Able to perform night works including weekends and public holidays.
