About the Role
- Project Director to lead the delivery of major MRT infrastructure projects, managing Design & Build MRT station projects,
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale MRT station and tunnelling projects under the Land Transport Authority (LTA)
- Oversee all phases of project execution, including design coordination, construction, testing, and commissioning
- Act as the primary interface with LTA, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Manage JV partner alignment, governance, and performance (where applicable)
- Drive construction strategy, resource planning, and project scheduling to meet key milestones
- Ensure strict compliance with LTA specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, cost control, claims, and variation management
- Lead and mentor a large, multi-disciplinary team across engineering, construction, and commercial functions
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical, operational, and commercial risks
- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all site activities
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 18 years of experience in civil infrastructure / MRT projects
- Proven track record delivering LTA MRT projects in Singapore (CRL, TEL, DTL, or CCL)
- Strong expertise in underground station construction, deep excavation, and tunnelling works (TBM)
