Fermion Merimen was founded in the year 2000 by a group of technopreneurs passionate about revolutionizing the Insurance industry. Today, over 160 leading General Insurers across 10 countries in Asia and the Middle East use our B2B SaaS and AI platforms to digitize and automate over 2 million policies and claims annually.
Our Singapore team, based in Raffles Place, plays a key regional role to support other countries in business and product development, while serving over 20 insurers locally including the Asian head offices of global insurance companies. The SG team aspires to support Southeast Asia's drive towards digitization and Insurtech.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Singapore Operations and Head of Projects, this is a hybrid role with dual ownership in both project management and account management. With an extensive client base in SG, the role focuses on long-term relationship building and customer engagement, identifying market needs and the right solutions, as well as overseeing their project delivery.
Project Management
- Drive the successful implementation of B2B SaaS projects, comprising requirements gathering with clients, timeline and resource planning, solution design with Technical team, and coordinating SIT/UAT/training activities with clients & QA team.
- Master our software / AI products and how they enable insurance business processes, so as to drive effective business analysis and solutioning.
- Provide leadership and mentoring for Business Analysts and Project Managers to fulfill high standards for project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Engage Business Development and Product Development teams to align on overall project priorities and product roadmaps.
Account Management
- Own a portfolio of existing clients in SG & the region, focusing on deepening senior-level relationships, driving customer success, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to understand client goals and recommend the right solution from our SaaS and AI products.
- Work with Business Development team to define and execute overall SG commercial strategy and strategic growth plan, with a key focus on existing clients
- Oversee key projects, supporting project managers and technical teams by managing senior stakeholders, and acting as the escalation point for issues or delivery risks.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Academic Qualification and Experience
- Possess a Degree, preferably in Business or IT / Computer Science.
- 10+ years of relevant working experience in project management, product development and/or account management roles.
- Experience in general insurance industry and/or enterprise software is a plus.
2. Knowledge/ Skills / Competencies
- Independent and self-motivated Team player, who is comfortable with a flat and collaborative organization culture
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performance teams
- Deep expertise in project management, especially in complex enterprise projects
- Strong business acumen with a focus on strategic planning and project execution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Deep understanding of enterprise technology and SaaS projects
- Analytical and detail-oriented, experienced with business and technical requirements analysis and business process modelling/mapping
- Professional selling and presentation skills is preferred but not required
3. Other Requirements
- Open to Singaporean and PR only
- Willing to travel for meetings with Head of Projects or clients in the APAC region (up to 10% of time)
