GENERAL SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to work alongside Starrs APAC leadership team. This role will report directly to the APAC COO and maintain a dotted-line relationship with Starrs global Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). The Project Manager will play a critical role in executing Starrs strategic ambitions across the APAC region, with a strong emphasis on standardizing project management processes and embedding best practices across initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Execution and Oversight

  • Manage and support the execution of strategic, cross-functional projects across APAC.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

2. PMO Alignment and Standards

  • Collaborate with Starrs global EPMO to implement standardized project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
  • Promote consistency and quality across all APAC project initiatives.

3. Governance and Reporting

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for project tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level dashboards, status reports, and risk assessments.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business unit leaders and functional teams to ensure project alignment and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination across project teams.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of PMO best practices and training programs across APAC.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Specifications:

  • 610 years of experience in project management, preferably within insurance, financial services, or consulting industry
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks (e.g., PMI, Agile, Waterfall)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with or within a global PMO structure is a plus
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results

Education:

  • Bachelors degree required; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
