Project Director - Data Center Construction

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of data center construction projects. This role will oversee planning, execution, stakeholder management, and compliance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of data center construction projects, from design coordination to commissioning.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Planning & Execution

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and client specifications.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Facilitate clear communication and alignment across all project phases.

Quality & Performance

• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, safety, and operational readiness.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and performance benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in data center or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex projects in Southeast Asia.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and data center standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, ASHRAE).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
