Job Summary
Lead and manage electrical installation projects by coordinating site activities, liaising with stakeholders, and supporting project costing to ensure timely, high-quality delivery and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned electrical installation projects on schedule by coordinating with the Site Management Team and monitoring progress
- Collaborate with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines
- Manage project implementation and completion to achieve smooth operational flow and client satisfaction
- Support project costing and re-engineering efforts to optimize profit margins, prepare monthly progress claims, and control expenditure budgets
- Advise customers and site teams on equipment selection to meet project requirements
- Participate actively in technical discussions and progress meetings with clients, M&E consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve issues and align expectations
- Assist the Safety Coordinator/Safety Officer in planning, assessing, and implementing the Project Safety System to maintain compliance and safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and company goals
Required competencies and certifications
- Relevant academic qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related fields
- Proven project management experience in electrical installation projects, particularly turnkey and addition & alteration (A&A) works, with strong technical knowledge and site experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project software for project planning and documentation
- Effective communication skills with demonstrated leadership and initiative
- Ability to work onsite predominantly and occasionally after office hours to meet project schedules
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working at local construction sites
