Job Description
My client is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support the Biometric Project's infrastructure installation at customer sites. The role focuses on preparing sites for both pre-project and project installation phases, working closely with Project Managers, vendors, contractors, and customers to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee infrastructure and equipment installation in alignment with project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
- Facilitate effective communication between vendors, contractors, customers, and internal project teams.
- Track and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Assist in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and compliance monitoring.
- Coordinate contractors to ensure smooth deployment and resource allocation.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
- Capture and report site progress updates (photos, simple reports).
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Perform hands-on support for hardware replacement, troubleshooting, and installation.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
- Must-have experience in:
Coordinating electrical/mechanical engineers for project execution.
Hardware replacement/troubleshooting with hands-on skills.
Site implementation and risk assessment. - Familiarity with IT infrastructure implementation.
- Experience in electrical or construction projects preferred.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures onsite.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
