About us:

The Ramakrishna Mission Boys Home is a residential Home for boys between 5 and 18. The Home is run by the Ramakrishna Mission within its premises. The residents go to local schools and return to the Home. The Home takes care and works towards reintegration with the family.

The Key responsibiliites are to assist the Head of Home and Social Worker to manage the needs of the Home. It includes:

Programmes:

1) Source programmes, activities and engagement of the residents that would develop them physically, emotionally, socially and educationally.

2) Design and implement programmes, activities and engagement of the resident that would develop them physically, emotionally, socially and educationally. Present your ideas to the Head of Home for approval prior to Implementation.

Care of Residents

1) Form secure bonds with the residents, understanding their needs and monitor their progress.

2) Provide guidance for positive behaviour with focus on inculcating good habits and values.

Work with a team of care staff and leadership to ensure a safe and nurturing enviornment which promotes overall development.
