Production Technician

Details :

• Basic salary up to $2,500
• Location: Kaki Bukit
• Monday - Sunday, 10-7pm
• 7 off days a month

Job Scope :

Lens Edging & Assembly

• Operate lens edging machines to cut and shape lenses according to frame specifications.
• Assemble lenses into frames accurately and securely.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure prescription accuracy, lens alignment, and finishing standards.
• Troubleshoot minor edging or fitting issues.

Quality Control

• Verify lens prescriptions against job orders before and after edging.
• Inspect frames and lenses for defects or damage.
• Ensure all completed jobs meet company quality and safety standards.

Inventory & Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain proper handling and storage of lenses and frames.
• Monitor inventory levels of lenses, tools, and consumables.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of edging machines.
• Report equipment faults or technical issues promptly.

Operational Support

• Ensure timely processing of orders to meet service turnaround time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab area.
• Support opticians and retail team when required.
