Production & Quality Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections on raw materials and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Conduct first-off inspections for machining processes to verify correct setup and adherence to tolerances
• Carry out in-process inspections during assembly to maintain consistent product quality
• Perform final inspections prior to shipment, ensuring all products meet internal and customer requirements
• Coordinate with external vendors for calibration of measuring equipment and ensure all tools are within valid calibration periods
• Maintain accurate inspection records and support traceability requirements
• Support the Production Lead in daily shopfloor activities to meet production targets and schedules
• Assist in monitoring production flow and highlight any issues or delays to the Production Lead
• Provide guidance to operators when needed, especially on quality-related matters and work instructions
• Work closely with Engineering, and other teams to resolve production and quality issues

Requirements

• Good understanding of quality control and inspection processes in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with measuring tools and calibration familiarity with Image Dimension Measurement Systems (eg, Keyence equipment) is a plus
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Comfortable communicating in English (spoken and written)
• Diploma in Engineering, or at least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, quality, or production
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is an advantage
