Job Summary
You will assemble and modify PCs, provide technical support to customers via phone and WhatsApp, manage PC components inventory, and perform quality control to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and modify PCs to meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Respond to technical questions from customers through phone and WhatsApp hotline to resolve issues effectively
- Manage PC component inventory by performing storekeeping and stocktaking to maintain accurate records
- Test and troubleshoot PCs to identify and fix hardware or software problems before delivery
- Handle incoming calls and assist walk-in customers at the customer service centre with technical inquiries and support
- Conduct follow-up calls to customers to resolve outstanding technical or service issues promptly
- Perform Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and warranty servicing to process repairs and replacements efficiently
- Carry out incoming and outgoing quality control (QC) checks to ensure product standards are met
- Prepare daily and monthly technical and quality control reports to document performance and issues
- Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by the technical department and General Manager to support team objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Practical electronic skills to assemble, test, and troubleshoot PC hardware components
- PC assembly experience to build and modify computers accurately
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel to prepare reports and manage documentation
- Good written and spoken English to communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Minimum ITE/N Level or equivalent qualification
