Production Planner
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate closely with the Business Development team to manage incoming orders and ensure all job instructions are complete, accurate, and clearly communicated
- Review job orders and calculate required paper volumes and material requirements
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule, ensuring optimal allocation of printing jobs
- Plan production activities based on machine availability, capacity constraints, and delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate and well-organized records of printed samples, including detailed technical specifications
- Prepare and distribute daily production and operational reports in a timely manner
- Update and manage job sheets to support efficient production planning and tracking
- Process and update amendment requests from the Business Development team
- Liaise with the Materials Planner to coordinate procurement of special inks and materials
- Monitor job progress and proactively provide status updates to relevant stakeholders
- Comply with the requirement set in Quality Management System, FSC/COC Management System, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System, and any other management systems deem related to this industry
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration with at least 1 year of experience in a fast pace manufacturing environment
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Offset Printing and Offset Binding processes will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and related software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
