Responsibilities:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products optimize existing ones to boost quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams for smooth process integration.
- Create detailed process docs (work instructions, flow diagrams, SOPs).
- Transfer process knowledge to production teams.
- Analyze production data to spot trends and areas for improvement.
- Identify improvement opportunities apply lean principles to reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal/external audits address any manufacturing process related findings.
- Provide technical support to production teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors/suppliers to identify and implement new technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in precision machining engineering.
- Strong knowledge of precision machining processes, materials, and equipment.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, MasterCam).
- Familiarity with technical drawings and BOMs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and apply lean principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills works well in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations applicable to precision machining engineering.
