Duties & Responsibilities:
a) Industrial Transfer & Capability Development
Coordinate transfer of product equipment, procedures, test benches, and documentation.
Write, review, and correct technical documents.
Train technicians and validate shop processes.
Support with feasibility and investment studies.
b) Customer Support
Provide technical support to customers, OEMs, and partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
Monitor product reliability, analyze in-service data, resolve technical complaints, and recommend improvements.
Prepare reports, documentation, and deliver training.
c) Repair Operations
Lead and support repair operations and workshops.
Oversee technician teams and internal stakeholders to ensure high performance, profitability, and quick processing.
Manage repair orders, supplier sourcing, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
d) Department Management Support
Teamwork & Backup other engineers and team members.
Solve production issues, implement process improvements, and ensure effective communication across departments.
e) Health, Safety & Environment
Comply with all HSE regulations and participate in related initiatives.
f) Continuous Improvement
Drive and participate in company-wide improvement and innovation programs such as ONE SAFRAN, Lean, QRQC, 5S, root cause analysis, etc.
Job requirements:
Qualifications/ Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering.
2-3 years experience in engineering, product support, and repair operations (aerospace preferred).
Experience with project management, calibration, maintenance environments, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., Part 145) and quality systems (ISO9000, AS9110).
Skills:
Technical writing, interpreting schematics/drawings.
Knowledge of IPC standards, wiring/electrical & test equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and basic SAP/ERP systems.
Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to multi-task in a dynamic environment, communicate effectively, and maintain a high standard for safety and quality.
