They are looking for a passionate Business Analyst / Product Owner who is excited about owning product initiatives, driving delivery with cross-functional teams, and ensuring digital solutions effectively meet business and user needs.
What You Will Be Working On
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Define product vision, roadmap, and delivery priorities aligned with organisational objectives.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are prioritised based on business value, urgency, and user impact.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Support release planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, workflows, and process improvements.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to identify opportunities and pain points.
- Evaluate current-state processes and recommend future-state digital solutions.
- Analyse requirements to support test case creation, UAT planning, and business readiness.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to align priorities, expectations, and delivery outcomes.
- Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, risks, and key decisions clearly to management and users.
- Balance competing stakeholder requests while maintaining focus on product goals and user outcomes.
User Experience & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers on research activities, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and journey mapping.
- Use feedback, analytics, and user insights to continuously improve products and services.
- Drive a culture of agility, innovation, and iterative improvement.
Data & Performance Tracking
- Define success metrics and monitor product performance against KPIs.
- Use data to support prioritisation decisions, identify enhancement opportunities, and measure impact.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Product Management, or related roles.
- Strong experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Proven ability to bridge business requirements with technical implementation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience facilitating workshops, sprint ceremonies, UAT sessions, and requirement discussions.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar collaboration tools.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in UX, data analytics, or government/public sector projects is an advantage.
- Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, Scrum Master, or equivalent will be a plus.
