Devops Engineer

Objective: The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, managing source code repositories, and optimizing project management tools. This role aims to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our development and deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration and delivery across teams.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo.
• Manage source code repositories and workflows using Bitbucket.
• Administer and optimize Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Nexus Repository and Nexus Firewall.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in DevOps or a related role.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Nexus Repo, and Nexus Firewall.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with code quality and security tools (e.g., SonarQube).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in DevOps or related fields.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
