As a Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for customer return analysis for automotive microcontroller products. You will work on understanding and reproducing customer-reported failures, performing indepth technical analyses using advanced tools and equipment and providing expert guidance to ensure efficient resolution and continuous improvement.
You will also apply your technical knowledge to support Cost Reduction activities such as test time reduction, test yield improvement, qualify Fab sites and qualify manufacturing flow transfers (from high-cost manufacturing to lower cost location).
Job Requirements:
Experience in electrical measurement methods: DC measurements, usage of oscilloscopes and frequency generators; physical background for semiconductor measurements
Knowledge in software development for (automotive) microcontroller applications
Experience in microcontroller programming with C, Perl or Python
Knowhow about semiconductor structures and manufacturing (i.e. special knowledge of NVM and or highspeed interface)
Strong technical / analytical analysis capability – with primary focus on electrical analysis.
Knowledge of semiconductor physics, failure mechanisms, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in FE and BE yield improvements, Test time reduction activities, fab transfers, and fab / process qualifications.
Understanding of 8-D Methodology, Statistical Yield Analysis, SBL,DOE, FMEA, FTA, Fishbone Analysis, Is / Is-not, and Why-Why.
Experience 4 -8 years.
Education:
A Bachelor or equivalent degree in the field of Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics or other technical fields
Prior Knowledge:
Working experience in electrical failure analysis or product engineering and customer quality a plus
Language Skills:
Fluency in English, Mandarin would be an advantage
