Product Engineer

Principal Accountabilities

1. Conduct an Engineering study/review during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase.

2. Create and maintain the record of engineering drawings, BOMs, component specifications, and technical information.

3. Project Management during the NPI phase, which involves FA sample preparation and report.

4. Coordinate with Production sites for Mass Production.

5. Conduct continuous improvement in processes and training for operators/tech.

6. Other ad-hoc tasks as per assigned.

POSITION SPECIFICATION

Education

. Minimum Diploma/Degree in an Engineering discipline.

Experience

. Preferably, 2 years of relevant working experience in the wire harnessing industry.

. Hands-on experience in sample build and mass production will be an advantage

. Computer literate with hands-on experience in Excel and Drawing software (AutoCAD or Zuken E3 or HarnWare software knowledge will be an advantage)

. Good product knowledge for wire harnessing

. Good communication skills.

. Fast and accurate with a sense of urgency

. Willingness to pick up new knowledge and be able to implement new concepts quickly.
