Serve as the product owner for managing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) with Sales & Marketing (S&M) and Operations to meet customer requirements.
Ensure timely closure of RFQs with proper tracking through Turnaround Time (TAT) reporting.
Drive the execution of First Article Test (FAT), First Lot Production (FLP), and First Article Inspection (FAI) to meet all customer requirements.
Manage product ownership of Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing setup, ensuring accuracy and adherence to TAT.
Lead product performance improvements through yield enhancement, scrap reduction, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and Parts Per Million (PPM) reduction.
Manage product concessions and ensure compliance with customer requirements in collaboration with S&M.
Oversee packaging, raw materials, tooling, and fixture management for assigned products.
Act as the key interface with customers on product-related matters.
Participate in weekly reviews of FAT, yield, scrap, and OTD status with stakeholders to ensure targets are achieved.
Job Requirements:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Optics, Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in optics, opto-mechanical, or opto-electronic systems.
Strong knowledge of optical components and their functionality.
Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Skilled in designing jigs and fixtures.
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean principles.
Hands-on experience with optical testing and metrology systems.
