Job Purpose

We aim to build an industry-leading Life Sciences & Healthcare (LSH) premium digital shipping and Clinical Trials orchestration platform.

The goal is to connect our LSH Customers, including pharma companies, central labs, medical professionals, patients, and internal DHL LSH users with LSH vendors. The LSH digital customer experience platform will cover the E2E Digital journey tailored to the specialized shipping needs of the industry. This product will support the DHL Group Strategy 2030 Health Logistics vision.

The role focuses on the future building and continuous improvement of a globally collaborative, specialized industry platform. It is expected to work closely across integrated customer solutions and cross-functional product teams.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL

. Lead product roadmap development, stakeholder alignment, and closure of business/customer requirement clarifications.
. Manage prioritization of the digital platform in sync with the LSH Enablement steering group.
. Continuously progress the agile analysis & design phase with development teams.
. Support customer feedback inclusion into user stories towards future platform build.
. Support the business teams to refine user stories to a higher quality till technical design readiness.
. Support the business teams to outline test case sets to prepare for testing cycles
. Define the appropriate support of SLAs together with the development teams.
. Lead product testing lifecycle, user acceptance test plans, and UAT testers organization.
. Oversee UAT test case creation, all testing follow-up, and pilot country rollout planning.
. Manage Hypercare activities and contribute to global reporting activities.
. New features, training materials creation, and communications.
. Global network-wide communications are needed.
. Provide direction to Product Managers or regional subject matter experts (Who will be supporting the product with a regional focus).
. Provide leadership to regional and country stakeholders to ensure that programs and projects are managed collaboratively with an Agile-first mindset.
. Organize vendor teams to deliver product MVPs and enhancements on time, within scope, budget, quality, and governance frameworks.
. Facilitate day-to-day alignment and negotiate changes in functionality within sprint planning.
. Identify and propose tactics that improve go-to-market speed.
. Anticipate stakeholder and customer needs and integrate them proactively into roadmap reviews.
. Ensure Express LSH digital capabilities continue to meet or exceed industry competition.
. Facilitate POA creation, define and measure business value. Prioritize delivery accordingly.

Do you have what it takes

. University Degree or certification in Digital Transformation, Design thinking, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
. Strong Analytical and technical skillset.
. Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry expertise or exposure is beneficial.
. Ex-Express courier or Specialist pharma courier expertise or exposure is beneficial.
. Ex-DHL Express technology expertise or exposure is beneficial.
. 8-12 years of experience, preferably in digital product management or related roles.
. Ideally, 5-8 years of experience leading or supporting high-volume, integrated, or UI based technology products preferred.
. Demonstrated experience in a Product Management role, balancing specialized & highly customized customer shipping needs, commercial acumen, and technical knowledge for managing a global product platform.
. Solid understanding of agile methodologies and sprint release cycle planning.
. Working knowledge of the software engineering process and product lifecycle management for multi-million Euro technology platform releases.
. Experience managing business and technical aspects of high-traffic, mission-critical customer-facing product platforms.
. Understanding product information architecture and digital usability is beneficial.
. Experience developing software solutions from concept to market launch, including research, solution definition, UAT testing, beta rollout, hyper care, and product resilience.
. Transportation industry knowledge and familiarity with transportation technology solutions are beneficial.
. Fluent in both spoken and written English.
