Monthly Salary: SGD 7,000 - 9,000
Our company is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for a high-caliber Director in Product Design & R&D who can blend creativity, innovation, and technical insight. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands product functionality but also has a strong sensitivity to art, aesthetics and visual culture.
What You Will Do:
- Drive the overall creative vision for new product concepts
- Lead R&D initiatives, ensuring products meet both artistic and commercial standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across design, engineering and production
- Evaluate materials, colors, and forms to create memorable product experiences
- Supervise prototype development and product improvement cycles
- Shape long-term design strategies aligned with brand positioning
What We're Looking For:
- Background in product design, industrial design, R&D or related disciplines
- Demonstrated artistic taste and strong aesthetic judgement
- Experience managing design or R&D teams
- Ability to convert abstract ideas into practical, manufacturable solutions
- Strong sense of responsibility, creativity and innovation mindset
