Key responsibilities:
- As a Producer in Seithi Digital's Growth team, you will help grow the Seithi brand in terms of traffic, reach and sophistication of product.
- You will contribute to the digital team on publishing strategy for the Seithi website and for social media.
- You have to think of new ways to engage our audience through special projects.
- Being versatile, you will also help enhance our coverage with shareable video, infographics and videographics, as well as interactives.
- Your goal is to nurture our audience across the genres of general news, lifestyle and features.
- You will also seek to deliver a more personalised, well-rounded experience for readers.
Key requirements:
- Diploma/degree in any discipline
- Strong news sense with some experience innews writing and/or editing
- Sound knowledge of what works for social media in terms of toneand packaging
- Ability to use analytics tools for audience engagement.
- Knowledge of SEO is a bonus
- Reasonable competency in Tamil
