About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities for data center fit-out projects across the APAC region. This role will be pivotal in ensuring cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and timely delivery of critical materials and services to support large-scale infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for data center fit-out scope, including MEP systems, racks, cabling, power distribution, cooling, and finishing works.
- Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and contract execution to achieve optimal commercial and technical outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across APAC, ensuring compliance with company standards and regional regulations.
- Collaborate with implementation managers, sales engineering, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and emerging technologies to inform procurement decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, including cost benchmarking, supplier performance management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, ethical sourcing, and health & safety requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in data center, construction, or large-scale fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of APAC supplier markets and regional procurement regulations.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data center infrastructure procurement (power, cooling, cabling, racks).
- Familiarity with sustainability and green building standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Multilingual capabilities (English required; Mandarin, Japanese, or other APAC languages a plus).
