Responsibilities:
Shipment & Logistics
- Plan and manage local and international shipments, including import/export, container dispatch, and delivery arrangements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, hauliers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, such as invoices, delivery orders, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Fetch, compare, and evaluate sea freight rates from multiple carriers and agents to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.
- Track shipments from origin to destination and resolve delays or discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations and internal SOPs.
Procurement & Sourcing
- Source and evaluate suppliers and service providers for materials, products, and logistics services.
- Request and compare quotations, ensuring best pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and delivery schedules with vendors and logistics partners.
- Raise and track purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement aligned with project needs.
- Maintain an organized database of vendors and sea freight providers.
Inventory & Operational Coordination
- Monitor and record incoming and outgoing stock, coordinating closely with warehouse and operations teams.
- Input and maintain data in Excel sheets and ERP/logistics systems.
- Track and analyze costs, shipment performance, and supplier reliability.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements through smart sourcing and planning.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement and/or logistics.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
