Job Description

We are partnering with a leading organisation to appoint a Procurement Lead. This leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing the organisation's procurement strategy, driving cost savings to deliver long-term value. The role will focus on category management and overseeing end-to-end tender processes - with a particular focus on indirect procurement.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end tender and sourcing processes for high-value and complex categories, ensuring strong commercial outcomes.
Analyse spend data and market trends to drive optimisation, cost savings, and strategic decision-making.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business needs.
Identify and mitigate procurement and supply-chain risks while driving continuous process improvements and innovation.
Oversee digitalisation and transformation initiatives, including adoption of platforms, tools, and process automation.
Ensure governance, compliance, and alignment with organisational policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
Present procurement insights, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
