Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of critical materials and components
- Negotiating and managing supplier contracts to optimise costs, lead times and quality
- Analysing market trends, supplier performance and inventory levels to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating cross-functionally to align procurement activities with production and sales requirements
- Implementing and maintaining robust inventory management systems to minimise stock-outs and excess inventory
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry regulations and best practices
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline
- At least 2 - 3 years experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably within the semiconductor or precision engineering industries
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and components
