Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support the business and meet production targets
- Manage and optimise the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, order fulfilment and inventory management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing and quality standards
- Analyse procurement data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, finance and other teams to align procurement activities with business objectives
- Develop and mentor the procurement team, promoting best practices and continuous professional development
- Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, policies and procedures
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably with managerial/ supervisory experience and in the semiconductor or precision manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, including sourcing strategies, contract management, inventory control and supplier relationship management
- Proven track record in delivering cost savings and process improvements through strategic procurement initiatives
