Engage in daily procurement activities on sourcing and supplier development in accordance to customer's enquiries in cost-efficient manner and qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in the sourcing process and supplier selection based on customer enquiries.
- Develop and identify potential suppliers/manufacturers based on Exim's main products categories.
- Review and conduct price negotiation with suppliers.
- Manager the company's Sourcing Software and monitor the sourcing activities based on enquiries productivity, hit-rate of enquiries.
- Develop and implement control to monitor the enquiries set-up.
- Arrange technical sharing from manufacturers with Exim's sales tem.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pre-requisities
- At least Diploma in Engineering or Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or in any similar role.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial components procurement is preferred.
- Good communcation and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
