My clients within the Pharma and Consumer Healthcare industry are looking for a Procurement Assistant Director for their organisation. As the business is in the growing stages you will be responsible for leading all the strategic procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively enable the business to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to the business for cost reduction strategies.
- Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.
- Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations.
- Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships.
- Develop a centralized procurement program that adds value and efficiency to the organization
- Reviewing and auditing supplier invoices for accuracy and discrepancies
Ideally you would have strong leadership skills. Solid strategic and operational management and general business skills within the Supply Chain. At least 15 years of senior supply management experience, strategic and operational management experience.
