Process Stamping Engineer

Key responsibilities

1. Analyse production data and identify opportunities for process improvements
2. Design and implement new stamping processes and tooling to enhance productivity and product quality
3. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the manufacturing floor
4. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for stamping operations
5. Provide technical guidance and training to production staff to ensure adherence to best practices
6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to the stamping process
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in stamping technology and process engineering

Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on stamping operations
3. Proficient in process analysis, process improvement, and problem-solving techniques
4. Hands-on experience with stamping equipment, including presses, dies, and tooling
5. Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret production data and identify root causes
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
7. Driven, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
