Key responsibilities
- Analyse production data and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Design and implement new stamping processes and tooling to enhance productivity and product quality
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the manufacturing floor
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for stamping operations
- Provide technical guidance and training to production staff to ensure adherence to best practices
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to the stamping process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in stamping technology and process engineering
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on stamping operations
- Proficient in process analysis, process improvement, and problem-solving techniques
- Hands-on experience with stamping equipment, including presses, dies, and tooling
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret production data and identify root causes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Driven, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
