Process Safety Engineering Lead- Pharma Projects

We are currently looking for Process Safety Engineering Lead-Design Safety to join us on a Contract basis to help us deliver various projects in the Life Sciences Industry.

Key Attributes/Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical authority for process safety across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure facility design meets international standards, local regulations, international standards, and industry best practices.
• Develop, implement, and govern process safety strategies, standards, and policies.
• Lead and coordinate hazard identification and risk assessments (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, safety reviews).
• Represent the client team in all process safety reviews and decision-making forums.
• Deliver all process safety outputs (basis of safety, hazard studies, relief/venting, explosion protection) in line with scope and schedule.
• Track, monitor, and report progress of process safety deliverables and risks to management.
• Coordinate with SHE, engineering, operations, quality, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Support construction SHE, mechanical completion, operational readiness, and Pre-Start-up Safety Review activities.

This is not a site safety role while site safety experience may be beneficial.
