Responsible for electrical system design, integration, and testing to support semiconductor equipment development and ensure reliable system performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with system engineers to define electrical system and subsystem design specifications.
- Design electrical interlock and power distribution systems for semiconductor equipment.
- Manage external vendors and contractors to ensure subsystem delivery meets design specifications and reliability requirements.
- Integrate and test electrical subsystems.
- Design diagnostic tools and fixtures for manufacturing and field service support.
- Provide escalation support, including participation in customer conference calls and face-to-face technical discussions.
- Prepare technical presentation materials for engineering reviews and discussions.
- Conduct prototype testing, troubleshooting, and prepare analysis reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development.
- Experience in motion control systems.
- Hands-on experience with PCBs, frame grabbers, CCDs, capacitance gauges, A/D and I/O boards.
- Strong knowledge of AC and DC power distribution systems.
- Familiarity with Ethernet and TCP/IP protocols.
- Experience in cable design and documentation.
- Knowledge of safety standards and electrical regulatory compliance.
