Process Engineer (Die/Mold/Pick&Place)

Key Responsibilities

• Process Documentation: Establish, review, and update specifications, workflows, and safety documentation for specific process areas (Die Prep, Molding, or Pick and Place).

• Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot process issues and improve capabilities, yield, and cycle times from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to high-volume manufacturing.

• Quality Control: Manage process sustaining through SPC, periodic defect Pareto Analysis, and lead SPC control initiatives.

• Risk & Compliance: Maintain FMEA, Control Plans, and OCAP with cross-functional teams manage customer audits and 8D reports.

• Engineering Support: Provide disposition for engineering and production lots and conduct characterization to establish process baselines.

• Development & Collaboration: Drive new material and machine qualification, manage machine buyoff, and facilitate process transfers from pilot to production lines.

• Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers regarding process or quality issues.

Requirements

Education: Minimum Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in one of the following areas:

• Die Prep.
• Molding.
• Pick and Place.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SPC, DOE, FMEA, and 8D reporting.
