Widus Partners (Widus) is a leading, cross border private equity and strategic advisory firm based in South Korea, with presence across Hong Kong and Singapore. We are the premier private dealmaker in the region, providing practical solutions to corporates, growth enterprises and startups in Asia and globally. Currently managing four portfolio companies under our private equity segment, with an extensive and actionable pipeline of potential acquisition opportunities as well as strategic advisory mandates, we are currently recruiting for an Intern Analyst for our Singapore office, for a full-time internship starting immediately.

JOB DETAILS

Title: 2025 Intern Analyst (Convertible to Full-Time)

Period: 3 6 months

We are seeking a motivated and capable individual to join our Singapore office as an Intern Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to gain direct exposure to senior leadership and play an active role as we build our presence in the region. The internship offers a dynamic and hands-on experience within a growing team, and interns are expected to participate in high-impact work from day one.

Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and alignment with our values will be considered for a full-time role upon completion of the internship.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Successful candidates will support the team with a wide variety of tasks around both our private equity and strategic advisory deal flow. In particular, an Intern Analysts work will typically cover the following (not an exhaustive list):

  • Conduct research and analysis for:
  • Target/buyer profiles
  • Industry analysis
  • Financial modeling and analysis
  • Valuation analysis (e.g. comparable companies, precedent transactions, DCF, LBO, etc.)
  • Assist drafting of important internal and external documents
  • Pitch books for potential transactions
  • Marketing documents for advisory mandates
  • Investment Committee memos
  • LP communication decks
  • Internal/External reporting decks for portfolio companies
  • Attend meetings with counterparties, and prepare concise, insightful notes on the meeting

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

We are interested in candidates who meet the following criteria.

  • Recently graduated or currently pursuing a bachelors degree, with ability to commit up to 6 months
  • Superior knowledge of advanced tools in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Fundamental understanding of financial statements and valuation principles and techniques
  • An outstanding appreciation for accuracy of information and clean, perfect formatting
  • Clear, confident social and communication abilities (both written and verbal)
  • Good commercial sense and an interest and inherent curiosity in companies, their operations and strategies
  • Fluency in English, and other languages is a plus
  • Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic consulting, is highly desirable
