Responsible for project communication, discipline coordination, scheme discussion and formulation, etc.
Work scope and technical requirements identification
Take part in the technical clarification and prepare discipline proposals
Responsible for designing/reviewing/approving the design documents of overall piping discipline
Responsible for developing equipment layout philosophy and major equipment layout.
Responsible for coordinating, tracking, implementing and dealing with all kinds of problems in the overall piping technical documents
Responsible for preparing material take off for procurement of pipes, fittings and valves etc.
Responsible for review of technical documents for material bidding of piping discipline, clarification of bid evaluation, vendor drawings review, FAT inspection and other procurement technical support work
Responsible for site coordination, scheme discussion and other technical support during project construction
Complete other work assigned by Project Manager and General/Piping department.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant fields
More than 15 years of professional technical management experience of General/piping in offshore oil and gas field engineering at least 5 years experience as lead of Middle East offshore project preferred
Familiarity with oil and gas field development knowledge, offshore piping engineering knowledge, technical standards and specifications (including but not limited to API, ASME, SHELL), industry regulations and policies, and those with Middle East project experience are preferred
Familiarity with international project running system, client design concept, strong technical plan development and control ability, able to timely discover and solve problems, control and eliminate risks
Familiar with professional knowledge of piping stress analysis, including static analysis, dynamic analysis, AIV/FIV analysis methodology. Skilled in CAESAR II stress analysis software.
