DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Having in depth knowledge of Oil & Gas processing and treatment systems design especially for Offshore Facilities like FPSO, FSO or similar operating plants on land base.
- Having hands-on preparation of PFDS, UFDs, Heat and Mass Balance, and Safeguarding systems for gas processing facilities and units.
- Prepare and review P&IDs - perform all process related calculations (blowdown, PSV sizing, settle out, line size etc)
- Have done work in the interface design with reciprocating (motor /gas engine driven), centrifugal gas compression package, gas turbine power generation module.
- Have the competency to run simulation programs for the various operating cases using HYSYS, HTRI, Flarenet and Pipenet programs.
- Able to prepare Operating, control & Safeguarding philosophies.
- Able to perform process designs for gas compression facilities in equipment, line, and PSV sizing, settle-out and blowdown calculations.
- Able to work independently in process datasheets / line list for instruments, equipment, and piping.
- Able to prepare and review cause and effect matrix, alarm and trip envelopes, and operating windows.
- Able to lead in HAZOP / SIL (IPF) reviews independently and identify design gaps.
- Participate in technical bid evaluation of all equipment and instrument submitted by vendors.
- Participate in design review meetings with clients and vendors.
- Support site activities for construction, commissioning, and start-up of gas facilities
QUALIFICATION:
- 15 years direct hands-on experience in basic design, FEED and detailed engineering of gas compression systems for onshore/offshore facilities
- 15 years direct hands on experience in complete process design of FPSO Topsides Modules & Wellhead Platform
- Well versed in industrial design practices and OFFSHORE requirements.
- Possess working experience level in using HYSIS. Flarenet, Pipenet able to perform steady state simulation using HYSYS program
- Have work in multi-discipline team in delivering gas compression facilities and units.
- Have a bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering.
