Were looking to hire a Rates professional to join a global banking clients&apos Prime Brokerage Client Servicing team on a 1-year contract.
The successful incumbent will be the team&aposs Rates SME and serve as a key point of contact for institutional clients, supporting them from onboarding through to account closure. This role focuses on delivering excellent service, resolving inquiries efficiently, and coordinating closely with internal teams across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for client inquiries via email and phone
- Assist clients with system navigation and provide ongoing operational support
- Build strong working relationships and ensure a smooth client experience
- Handle post-trade processing including booking, clearing, novations, and terminations across various products (e.g., swaps, options, CDS, exotics)
- Monitor and resolve trade mismatches in coordination with internal teams and external parties
- Support global clients during Asia trading hours
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks and exceptions promptly
- Ensure service delivery meets internal control standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with global teams to maintain consistent service levels
- Monitor client billing, follow up on payments, and address any discrepancies
- Work closely with product and business teams to address client issues and provide operational insight
- Organize and present in monthly meetings to report on client metrics and initiatives
Requirements
- 35 years of Rates experience either in an operational, middle office, or client-facing capacity within the banking/financial services industry
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client expectations effectively
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of client needs
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; project/data management experience is helpful
- Well-organized, proactive, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with front-to-back trade flows and FX products a plus
