Role Overview

DPS International School invites applications from enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teachers from India who are interested in relocating to Singapore and contributing to a dynamic international learning environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in English, Mathematics, Science, Computers, PE, and Global Perspectives (GP) to primary school students.

The teacher will play an important role in nurturing students academic development, creativity, curiosity, and global awareness.

To support teachers relocating internationally, the school provides hostel accommodation within the school premises.

Key Responsibilities

•            Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons for primary level students.

•            Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports effective learning.

•            Use innovative teaching strategies and technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.

•            Monitor, assess, and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.

•            Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and student reports.

•            Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students.

•            Support students in developing communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and global awareness.

•            Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.

•            Maintain discipline, respect, and a supportive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements

•            Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant subject area

•            Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at Primary level

•            Strong command of spoken and written English

•            Good understanding of teaching methodologies

•            Ability to teach multiple subjects at the primary level

•            Basic IT and digital teaching skills

•            Strong classroom management skills

•            Passion for student-centered and inquiry-based learning

Preferred Qualifications

•            Experience teaching Cambridge / ICSE / CBSE / international curriculum.

•            Ability to integrate technology and project-based learning in the classroom.
