About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building highquality dashboards, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and supporting business decisionmaking across multiple functions. This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical ability, and domain knowledge in the insurance space.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports
- Transform complex datasets into meaningful visual insights
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate requirements
- Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability
- Implement data security measures including RLS
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain Power BI solutions
- Integrate Power BI with Oracle, Excel, and other data sources
- Support endusers and conduct training where required
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices
- Document dashboards, processes, and data flows
Primary Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of handson experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
- Strong knowledge of data modeling (star schema, fact/dimension tables)
- Experience integrating Power BI with Oracle, Excel, and other sources
- Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Domain knowledge in insurance functions (underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance)
- Experience with reinsurance analytics is a strong advantage
