About the Role

IFCHOR GALBRAITHS is seeking a skilled Post-Fixtures Operator to join our Dry Bulk operations team in Shanghai. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations professional to manage voyages, charterparty execution, and cargo operations across the Pacific and global dry bulk markets.

You will work closely with our shipbroking teams, shipowners, and charterers to ensure smooth operational execution, provide client support, and maintain high service standards in post-fixture operations.

Responsibilities

Manage all post-fixture operations for dry bulk voyages and time charter contracts.

Liaise with shipowners, charterers, brokers, and port agents to ensure timely and accurate execution of contracts.

Monitor vessel schedules, communication, cp performance, and related challenges.

Draft, review, and process charterparty documentation, recaps, and voyage instructions.

Support brokers and clients with market intelligence, operational advice, and problem solving.

Collaborate with international operations colleagues to ensure best practices across the Pacific and Asia dry bulk markets.

Skills & Experience

2-5 years of experience in dry bulk post-fixtures operations, voyage management, or chartering operations.

Strong knowledge of charterparty terms, laytime calculations, demurrage, and dispatch procedures.

Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced shipping environment.

Problem-solving mindset and a client-focused approach.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and operational processes.
