Investment Specialist & Portfolio Manager

Our client is a multi-family office that delivers cross-border solutions across both public and private markets with offices in the United States, Singapore and India. They are seeking an Investment Specialist & Portfolio Manager to lead the firm's investment organization in

Singapore.

The candidate should have min 6 years of experience working in the Investments space within the Singapore Wealth Management industry.

Responsibilities

Trading

• Evaluate and execute trades for model strategies, funds, and client portfolios
• Trade ETFs, stocks, bonds, futures, options, structured notes, etc.
• Invest in public and private vehicles -- funds, SMAs, SPVs, VCCs, etc.
• Participate in settlement processes and operations oversight

Portfolio Management

• Serve as Portfolio Manager for SMA, SPV, structured note, and private fund investments across equities, fixed income, and alternatives.
• Create, launch, and manage investment strategies for our clients working closely with external partners including managers, administrators, custodians, regulators, etc.
• Act as Portfolio Manager for clients. Ensure portfolios achieve client goals by proactively allocating to strategies that harvest tax losses, hedge risks, and diversify concentrated positions.
• Lead and coordinate client meetings. Create and review materials. Author commentary.

Research / Due Diligence

• Conduct in-depth research on markets, ETFs, stocks, bonds, and managers
• Identify differentiated, alpha-generating non-US based investment managers and lead due diligence on their strategies
• Liaise with the firm's India Platform Team on investment-related work
• Perform due diligence on exchanges and the best way to get the desired exposure
• Build and maintain relationships with traders, custodians, exchanges, wholesalers, managers, model providers, and outside sales.

Business builder and Revenue generator

• Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying client needs and addressing concerns
• Grow strategy revenue by engaging colleagues and clients with compelling opportunities
• Generate client revenue growth through client engagement and thoughtful portfolio solutions
