Responsibilities:
- Construct and manage discretionary investment portfolios, covering equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and/or alternative strategies.
- Define and implement asset allocation strategies that align with client goals and risk tolerance.
- Monitor portfolio exposures and conduct rebalancing as necessary to adhere to target allocations and mitigate risks.
- Generate and execute investment ideas grounded in fundamental, quantitative, and macroeconomic research.
- Conduct extensive analysis of industries and macroeconomic trends to uncover investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with the research team to assess investment theses and ensure a conviction-driven approach to portfolio management.
- Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events that could affect portfolio performance.
- Engage with institutional and high-net-worth clients to understand their investment objectives and communicate portfolio strategies and performance.
- Prepare and present regular portfolio reviews, performance reports, and investment outlooks to clients and senior leadership.
- Address client inquiries with timely, accurate, and insightful investment commentary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in portfolio management, asset management, or a comparable investment role.
- Proven track record in managing discretionary portfolios with verifiable performance results.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, and portfolio construction techniques.
- Experience in U.S. and Hong Kong markets is highly desirable.
- Prior exposure to public equity is a strong advantage.
- CFA charterholder or equivalent professional qualification.
